management trainee scheme

During the first two years of the scheme you will spend set periods of time working in a variety of departments and branches, gaining an all round appreciation of how the Society operates. During this time you will be supported financially in your studies for a series of professional qualifications. You will be allowed one day a week for dedicated study towards these qualifications.

The mix of practical learning, professional studies and on the job work experience helps your personal development. The scheme continues in the 3rd year when you are placed within our branch network having joined our Training & Competency Scheme, with a view to becoming a Mortgage Advisor. During this time you will be supported in your study towards the Professional Diploma in Financial Services Management.

We are very proud of the Management Trainee Development Scheme and of the progress our Trainees have made since joining the Society.

As the Management and Development Scheme has progressed, the Society now welcomes candidates of all ages and all levels of previous experience to apply.
