opening your account by post
If you open your account by post, we will accept good quality photocopies of documents.
If possible, please send us a copy of your:
- Current valid full UK passport, and
- Current UK full, signed driving licence.
If you are unable to send both of these documents, please send either a copy of your driving licence or passport and choose one other document from the proof of address list.
If you cannot let us have any of these documents, please contact us on 01325 366366.
In certain circumstances we may need to ask you for further proof of identity before we can open your account. We will contact you if we need to do this before we can open your account.
Opening an Individual Savings Account (ISA)
If you are opening an ISA, you must provide a valid National Insurance Number (not a temporary National Insurance Number), as well as proving your identity.
