Our maximum lending will be based on between 65% and 80% of the lower purchase/valuation price depending on the nature of the property.  For commercial investment property, rental income should cover mortgage interest in the ratio of 4:3.

  • Shop with owner’s living accommodation - 70%
  • Café or restaurant with owner’s living accommodation - 70%
  • Post Office with owner’s living accommodation - 70%
  • Professional office - 80%
  • Residential or commercial investment property - 75%
  • Private hotel (up to 20 bedrooms) - 70%
  • Guest house with owner’s living accommodation - 75%
  • Housing Association developments or individual properties - 75%
  • Private care residential and nursing homes - 75%
  • Farms (which are not subject to agricultural holding legislation) - 65%
