| To ensure we employ the right candidates for the right role, our recruitment process aims to match the correct skills, talent and experience to the job. If your application passes our initial assessment, you will be asked to undertake one or more of the following options depending on the type of job you are applying for. Interview You will be invited to one or more interviews. These are designed to give you an opportunity to tell us about yourself and why you are the right person for the job. We can also give you some more information about the role and the Society. Ability tests You will be asked to sit one or more tests which are specifically designed to measure your abilities or likely aptitude in specific areas. For example:- Your ability to deal with numbers, draw conclusions from written information or solve abstract problems. No prior preparation or revision is required and full instructions and practice examples are available at interview stage. The tests are timed and the session adjudicated by someone fully qualified in their administration and interpretation. Personality profile If applying for a position within our senior management team you may be asked to complete a PFI Personality Profile. These are untimed and provide information about the way you like to work and how you are likely to deal with situations. Presentations You may be asked to deliver a presentation on a given topic for certain positions within the Society. You will be advised of the maximum duration of the presentation and the type of audience you are addressing.
