25 April 2017
At 5.00pm (formal proceedings start at 6.15pm)
Preston Park Museum and Grounds, Yarm Road, Stockton-On-Tees, TS18 3RH
We celebrated the success of our 160th anniversary year pledges and talked through more about our commitment to share 5% of our net profits after tax with our local community. It was a full booked event as members joined us for a welcome drink in the Winter Garden, enjoyed a walk down the Victorian Street and a light buffet in the Billiard Room before the formal meeting began.
Members will then have an opportunity to walk down the Victorian Street in the museum where volunteers will be on hand to ask any questions about the exhibits. A finger buffet will be served in the Billiard Room before the formal meeting starts at 6.15pm.
An AGM (or Annual General Meeting) is a meeting of our Members. We share with you a review of the last year as well as sharing details of our future strategy.
Find out more and to see how can you vote in 2017.
The funds raised will be split between three charities equally. From the types of charities our members voted for at the last AGM, our staff nominated three charities to be beneficiaries of the Annual General Meeting: Teesdale and Weardale Mountain Rescue, Trinity Holistic Centre, Darlington Town Mission.

Nestled alongside the River Tees, Preston Hall, a former Georgian gentleman’s residence and once home to local industrial magnate Robert Ropner, houses a vast collection of artefacts which tell the story of Stockton-On-Tees.
With its famous recreated Victorian Street, the museum offers the opportunity to experience life in 1895, or simply enjoy the beautiful grounds with woodland and river walks.
