Director, People and Culture

I manage the Human Resource, Learning & Development and Facilities Function within the Society, ensuring that we hire and look after the best people whilst providing excellent surroundings for our staff and customers.

Having worked within Human Resources for over 10 years, I joined the Society in 2015 to commence a new chapter with the organisation striving to place our employees at the forefront of our decisions. Within the team we have a Learning & Development Manager, Senior HR Advisor, HR Administrator and a Facilities Officer, who enable us to provide a fully comprehensive proactive and reactive service to all stakeholders within the Society.

In 2016 we achieved the fantastic accolade of a Best Companies 1 Star Accreditation for our staff engagement and continue to build on this in 2017 with our unique vision, values and culture which makes the Darlington a great place to work.
