My property is unoccupied. Can cover be provided?

A property can be left unoccupied for a maximum of 60 consecutive days at any one time, during the 12-month term of a policy and still be insured. If a property is going to be left unoccupied for longer than this, then you would need to contact our Customer Services team on 0330 100 9602. You may have endorsements placed on your policy for the length of time the property will be unoccupied in excess of the 60-day limit. Alternatively, the policy may have to be cancelled and alternative cover will need to be sourced elsewhere.
