You will need to send in some documents with your application form.  You will find a full list when you print off your form.

Sometimes it's easier to discuss things face-to-face. All our branches have a mortage advisor ready and waiting to talk. If you’d like to discuss your options or you think you need advice, call in at your local branch.

Things to bring with you to branch

If you come into branch and to make the mortgage meeting the most productive it can be, we need you to bring some paperwork in with you.

  • Proof of your name, for example a full UK passport or driving licence
  • Proof of your address, for example a bank statement, council tax or utility bill
  • Proof of your income, for example your payslips for the last three months and full address of your employer's wages department
  • If you are self employed, details of your accountant. We also require last 3 years accounts and/ or SA302's. Also, please note that it can take at least 72 hours to get this information from HMRC. There are also some instances where we will look 2 years accounts plus an accountant's forecast.
  • Information on your credit commitments, for example personal loans or credit cards
  • Mortgage valuation fee, depending upon the mortgage product you have chosen
  • Mortgage or rent payment history, for example latest mortgage statement for one year or proof of one years rental payments.
  • Most recent 3 months consecutive bank statements.
