Darlington Building Society has welcomed a new Director of People and Culture to its Executive team.
Helen Easton joins the Society from Age UK, where she covered all aspects of human resources in her role as Group Chief Operations Officer. Before that, Helen built a wealth of experience across the retail world, most recently at Pepco group.
Andrew Craddock, Chief Executive of Darlington Building Society said: “It is great to have Helen on board. Her experience and perspective are great assets to the Society and I look forward to seeing how she incorporates both to drive key strategic areas forward for the benefit of our colleagues and members.”
Helen said of her appointment: “From the outset, Darlington Building Society felt like an organisation that genuinely cares about its staff and its members, and that’s fundamentally important for me. The Society embraces change for the benefit of colleagues and members.
“I’ve been responsible for huge number of people and teams over the years, and my aim is to use that experience to get the best out of those working for the Society, and do the best for those served by the Society.”
