Darlington Building Society’s Stockton branch will reopen on Monday 21 March at 9.30am after being closed for 2 weeks for refurbishment.Darlington Building Society’s Stockton branch is reopening on Monday 21 March at 9.30am.

The site has been closed for the past two weeks to undergo extensive renovation works, as part of our commitment to local high streets and to serving our members in the best possible way.

A grand reopening

Stockton branch’s refurbishment will provide members with another fresh, inviting and modern space whilst maintaining the personal touch that our members know and expect from us.

Before the new-look branch officially opens for business at 9.30am, there will be a ceremonial cutting of the ribbon which will be attended by our Chief Executive, Andrew Craddock along with other members of the Darlington Building Society team.

The ribbon cutting will be conducted by the Mayor of Stockton-on-Tees, Councillor Kevin Faulks, at 8.45am.

Committed to our high streets

Stockton’s refurbishment is the latest milestone in a wider commitment to upgrade our entire branch network, underlining our dedication to our local communities. It is important that we have a physical location on the high street where our members can access our services. The versatile spaces are also increasingly utilised as thriving community hubs by our local charity partners, embedding the Society’s presence within the community.

In the past three years, investment has included the refurbishment of Guisborough, Yarm, Barnard Castle and Northallerton branches– with Redcar moving to a more prominent position on the high street.
