Update following Bank of England Base Rate change

Updated: 2 September 2022

Following the Bank of England’s decision to increase the Bank Base Rate by 0.50 percentage points, to 1.75% on 4 August 2022, the Society is holding its Standard Variable Rate (SVR) on mortgages, and increasing interest rates on many savings accounts from Friday 2 September, helping our members’ money to work that little bit harder. You can see the latest savings interest rates on the Savings Accounts page.

Mortgages which are directly linked to and track the Bank Base Rate increased by 0.50% on 1 September 2022.
