Bishop Auckland Football Club is pleased to announce that Darlington Building Society are to continue their sponsorship of the Man of the Match award at every game at Heritage Park this season. A representative from the building society will present the award along with a couple of young people from the Bishop Auckland St Mary’s Youth FC after each game.
Darlington Building Society will also work closely with the football club across a broad spectrum of exciting youth and community match day initiatives, as the season progresses.
Nick Postma, Club Chairman, said; “The Club is delighted to renew our partnership with the Darlington Building Society for the next season. We are proud to be associated with this popular, well-respected regional building society with our 'man of the match' awards at home games”.
Commercial Director Dave Mills added; “It is an honour to welcome back Darlington Building Society to our football club again this season and we look forward to building on our successful relationship with them, not only for this season but hopefully for the long term. Darlington Building Society is an iconic local business with a real family and community ethos which we feel is the perfect fit for the Club. As the partnership has young people and the community at its heart, it will provide both parties with the opportunity to interact with each other's core followers to ensure the supporters also benefit from this new deal.”
Josh Palin, spokesperson for Darlington Building Society is equally enthusiastic about this partnership and said; “To mirror Dave’s comments, Bishop Auckland is a very prestigious club in the region and one that has the community at heart. It is great to be able to link up with a club which has a very similar ethos to the Society and we look forward to the upcoming season and also the work we will do together with the club.”
The Club thank all at Darlington Building Society for their continued support.
