We pride ourselves on the success we achieve both in the time we share with our communities and the products and services we offer to our members, which is why we are absolutely delighted to be selected as finalists in no fewer than five awards!
In the Money Age Awards, our portfolio of 11 savings accounts – including the Darly Young Saver Account, along with our mortgage portfolio have been recognised in their respective categories.
Demonstrating as much opportunity as possible including rewards for loyalty, mortgages for young professionals and products to suit changing lifestyles, we’re proud of our products and thrilled at the acclaim they are reaching in the wider industry.
Our work to share with the community has also been recognised by the Money Age Awards, with the Society being shortlisted for Best Charity Partnership of the Year. This is very close to our hearts and we’re honoured that the work we do with organisations such as Darlington Cares, the People’s Parliament and Cash for Kids TFM through out 5% pledge has led to this recognition.
But the success doesn’t stop there! Our very own Darly and the campaign to launch and promote the little train has been shortlisted for In-house Integrated Campaign of the Year at the North East Marketing Awards.
Incorporating events, social media and PR, the message of Darly’s Young Saver Account and the accompanying children’s book has steamed into success and we can’t wait to see where else we are taken on this magical adventure.
Also a finalist in the North East Marketing Awards is our Director – Products and Marketing, Caroline Darnbrook, is up against three other hopefuls for the Marketing Director of the Year title.
We are thrilled to have our achievements recognised and would like to thank both the North East Marketing Awards and the Money Age Awards for selecting us as finalists in these categories.
Our Chief Executive, Colin Fyfe is over the moon too! He said: “We always strive to offer the best service and products as possible and it’s wonderful to be shortlisted for this.
“Being shortlisted for the way we promote ourselves, and the people who do that, is an absolute delight and shows that the people behind what we do are just as important as what we do.
“I’m really proud of the whole Society, from branch to head office, and want to extend a thank you to our members and the public that give us opportunities to make a difference.”
Both award ceremonies take place on October 18th, so make sure to follow our social media accounts to keep up-to-date with the night’s events.
Best of luck to all other finalists!
